JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Accountant is responsible to ensure that proper records of all documents as per the given sequence. He/she is also responsible for maintaining the company's petty cash fund and proper utilization of the fund.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
- ● Prepare petty cash payment voucher by attaching supporting document
- ● File approved cash payment request and supporting documents
- ● Prepare cash count report covering relevant details
- ● Prepare Credit Sales Invoice based on the supporting documents
- ● Deliver credit sales and cash invoice and payment requests to the client
- ● Prepare petty cash expenditure summary and attach petty cash payment vouchers and payment receipts
- ● Receive checks and transfer advices from clients and banks
- ● Prepare withholding tax on payments
- ● File monthly taxes to MOR office
- ● Generate report of transactions on supplier account and carry out a comparison with supplier’s statement
- ● File the source documents properly
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
- ● BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- ● Training and on IFRS
- ● Detail oriented and organizational skills
- ● Knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree, QuickBooks etc.)
- ● Knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- ● Fresh graduate
