The Business Development Lead is responsible for identifying new business opportunities in order to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow. The job holder is often the first point of contact to a new potential client when they are seeking information on the products and services our company provides. He/She may take over a mix of existing accounts and new clients’ area.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
Prospect potential new clients, establish rapport and bring revenues to the organization
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
Meeting with the clients, understanding their needs and offering them a custom tailor-made solution.
Gather client's business requirements and assist in driving strategy, planning, execution by communicating and collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Cultivating positive interactions and relationships with old and new clients to evaluate better results.
Finding and developing new markets and improving revenue.
Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events and keeping abreast of trends and changes in the business world.
Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
Developing goals for business growth and ensuring they are met.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field.
4 years of experience in account services, marketing or related fields.
Experience in business development is a plus
Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills (both English and Amharic).
Ability to manage complex projects and multitask.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
Hands-on experience of handling MS Office.
Good presentation and pitching skills to sign up clients.
