Graphic Designer
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):
Study design briefs, determine requirements, planning concepts by researching and studying relevant information and materials
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Work with clients, briefing and advising them with regard to design style, format, print production and timescales
Develop the overall layout and production design for advertisements, brochures, magazines, and corporate reports, etc. Design (or create) graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, and magazine advertorials
Use a variety of mediums to achieve artistic or decorative effects and often select the type, font, size, color, and line length of headlines, headings, and text. Also decide how images and text work together in a specific layout
Transform statistical data into visual graphics and diagrams, often creating infographics, which can make complex ideas more accessible
Ensure projects are completed with high quality and on schedule
Make revisions based on feedback received
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
More than 3 years of experience in related areas and roles.
Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, InDesign, and other graphic design software
Typography knowledge
Exceptional creativity, innovation and originality
An understanding of the latest trends and their role within a commercial environment
Excellent time management and organizational skills/ability to cope with several projects at once
