JOB SUMMARY
Media Buying and Planning Manager leads a team of Media Buyer and Planner who identify the best mix of media channels to meet client's marketing goals, negotiate the best media rates and purchase the media and manage contracts. He/ She uses research data to decide on the best media strategy for product/brand exposure within the allocated budget.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to)
- Establishing and maintaining contacts with media owners.
- Negotiating the best deals for the campaign to keep within the budget.
- Monitoring the effectiveness of the campaign.
- Providing expertise on innovation and strategy to improve and guide client projects.
- Being a primary point of contact for clients and media owners and interacting with them daily.
- Building strong relationships with clients through face-to-face meetings, where you will lead conversations regarding client needs, expectations and reporting feedback
- Take operational charge of pre-existing accounts across a variety of different countries
- Guaranteeing that accounts are consistently meeting client's business objectives and KPIs
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- A Bachelor degree in relevant area
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Advertising and min 1 year in people management
- High level of analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and motivation skills
- Thorough Commercial awareness
- Proven ability to manage numerous accounts and strategies simultaneously
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong familiarity with analytics packages
- Have established innovative and strategic thinking for previous clients and campaigns
- Experience of interacting and building professional relationships with clients
