JOB SUMMARY
The Junior Accountant is responsible to ensure that proper records of all documents as per the given sequence. He/she is also responsible for maintaining the company's petty cash fund and proper utilization of the fund.
MAIN ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to)
- Prepare petty cash payment voucher by attaching supporting document
- File approved cash payment request and supporting documents
- Prepare cash count report covering relevant details
- Prepare Credit Sales Invoice based on the supporting documents.
- Deliver credit sales and cash invoice and payment requests to the client
- Prepare petty cash expenditure summary and attach petty cash payment vouchers and payment receipts
- Receive checks and transfer advices from clients and banks
- Prepare withholding tax on payments
- File monthly taxes to MOR office
- Generate report of transactions on supplier account and carry out a comparison with supplier’s statement
- File the source documents properly.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS
- BA degree in Accounting or Finance
- Training and on IFRS
- Detail oriented and organizational skills
- Knowledge of accounting software (Peachtree, QuickBooks etc.)
- Knowledge of accounting and finance principles
- Fresh graduate
